This MIT professor is known for his book on Convergence and Participatory Culture. Linked is one of my favorite clips of him, discussing storytelling and the present changes in media.
Associate Professor of cultural anthropology at Kansas State University and Professor of the Year in 2008, Wesch was dubbed the "Explainer" by Wired Magazine. An information tech guru, Wesch loves stories because "humans are meaning-seeking creatures". This link is to his talk on YouTube Culture.
