Overview: in a 5 min vlog share thoughtful, honest and intelligent responses to the following prompts:


THE BIG PICTURE: Comment on one of the quotes on literature - choose one you feel drawn to and share your thoughts about ways in which you believe it is true or relevant, particularly in how it relates to the works you studied this year.

LIFE LESSONS: Explore at least 1 theme from the any of the novels you studied. Be sure to state which novel featured this theme and what questions or thoughts you developed as you explored this theme by studying the novel.


HUMANITY: Character - pick one character from any of the works you studied this year - what did you learn from them?


WORDS: Share an important quote from any work you studied this year that will stick with you and why. Also, share your personal favorite vocabulary word you learned.


ME: Personal growth and challenges - briefly describe how you feel you have personally grown as a reader and writer (or student!) this year. What were some challenges you overcame and what are some of your goals for next year, particularly in English class?


Some of you might want a script or notes; others might prefer speaking ad hoc from the heart.
