Taggalaxy is a mesmerizing tool that allows you to search the world of Flickr by tagged words. This one is Hawaii+water+beach. You can swirl the globe around and when you click on an image, it will link to the photographer's Flickr page. Many are Creative Commons.
Infographics do not have to be computer-generated. This hand-drawn flow chart by Ward Shelley tracks the history of the Science Fiction genre.
